Fundraising is a significant way that NKA Ikem Esit Charitable non-profit organization obtains money for yearly operations by requesting donations from individuals, businesses, charitable foundations, or governmental agencies. These operations involve a very broad array of concerns to our Communities in USA and in Calabar, Nigeria. We tend to organize Special Events on regular basis such as Galas, then invite friends, coworkers, and businesses to support our events and ask for donation at the events, or mailed or use an internet as another tool to generate donation by asking people to go to the website: www.efickdc.org and make donation.

Nka Ikem Esit Charitable Organization, Inc. has demonstrated financial integrity, creativity, and transparency in all its fundraising and stewardship efforts. Every dollar raised is purposefully directed toward initiatives that align with the chapter’s mission of service, education, and cultural promotion — and donors have responded with trust and generosity.
WALKATHON FUNDRAISER
2nd Annual WalkathonBlack Forest Park in Germantown
In May 2025, Nka organized its second Annual Walkathon Fundraiser at the , Maryland. The proceeds will benefit the homeless shelters in DMV. 
1st Annual WalkathonLaurel Lakes Park
In April 2024, the chapter organized a highly successful the chapter organized its first Walkathon Fundraiser that brought together members and local residents to raise awareness and funds for health and education efforts. The goal was to raise $5000. The total amount raised was $8000. The proceeds will support charitable outreach projects in both the United States and Nigeria.
The event combined community wellness, cultural visibility, and impact-focused giving, drawing participation from members, friends, and supporters across the DMV region. It also helped introduce the chapter to new potential donors and volunteers.

The chapter is known for Documenting and reporting its fundraising and donation activities clearly at each Nka monthly meeting, maintaining accurate records of funds raised, allocated, and disbursed and reported in at each Nka monthly meeting and publicly sharing outcomes through its website and community updates.
