Nka Ikem Esit is committed to the educational development of Efiks and other minorities.

• In August 2013, Nka Ikem Esit donated towards the Back-to-school project of the Northern Virginia (iNOVA) Chapter of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization in the Americas (NIDOA).
• In August 2011, the organization adopted the Bethany AME Church in Capital Heights, Maryland (Reverend David Darryl Robinson, Senior Pastor – Bethany A. M. E. Church, 1014 Iago Ave, Capitol Heights, Maryland). NKA organized and sponsored a Back-to-School and Book-a-thon event in August 2011. Supplies and books were distributed to pre-school, elementary, middle and high school students in the church and neighborhood. Over 250 books were obtained free from The Baltimore Reads Organization book outlet for this event.
• Books from the Baltimore Reads, a non-profit organization, has been distributed to children at each of the 4 community health fairs sponsored by the organization in 2006, 2008, 2010, 2013
