The 2025 Efik National Convention and Fundrasing took place in Atlanta, Georgia, proudly hosted by the Atlanta Chapter. The event was honored by the presence of the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Prince Bassey Otu, and his wife, Her Excellency Dr. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu.  The theme of this year’s convention was “Empowering Community Preserving Culture and Leading with Service”

The convention celebrated the vibrant heritage of the Efik people through captivating cultural performances and displays, culminating in the grand presentation of the Ekpe.
